HM Smitha
H.M. Smitha began her Carnatic violin journey at age five, training under renowned musicians such as Vidwan Sri H.K. Narasimha Murthy and Sri H.N. Bhaskar. She started performing at 11 and is now an A-graded artist with All India Radio. Hailing from a musical lineage as the great-granddaughter of veteran violinist Sri A.V. Venkatanarayana, Smitha has accompanied esteemed artists like Ranjani Gayatri and Sudha Raghunathan. She has also won numerous awards, including "Chinnara Kalashree" and "Ananya Prathiba Purashkara," and frequently performs duet concerts with her sister, Sindhu Suchetan, showcasing their shared musical talent.
