Bhagyalakshmi Krishna

Bhagyalakshmi Muralikrishna, hailing from a musical family, has embraced the rare art of playing the morsing. Inspired by her father, the renowned Morsing Emperor Vidwan L. Bhimachar, and her family's musical legacy, she began her journey in this unique field. As a woman morsing player, Bhagyalakshmi aims to demonstrate that women can excel in this traditionally male-dominated area. Despite facing fewer opportunities, she finds inspiration in Ghatam Vidushi Sukkanya Ramgopal and values her collaboration in the Stree Taal Tarang group, where they innovate and express their ideas through performance.
