Arenlong Longkumer
Arenlong Longkumer, hailing from Nagaland, developed a passion for music early on, receiving his first guitar at age 10. Growing up in Alichen, he immersed himself in his family's vinyl record collection, which shaped his musical sensibility. At 35, Arenlong has garnered international acclaim, recently winning the International Solo Guitar contest organized by UK guitarist Jack Gardiner. He has also triumphed in various competitions, including the Strandberg India Guitar Contest. A former member of the band INFUSE, he balances his musical pursuits with academic achievements, holding an M Phil in Linguistics and becoming the first guitarist from Northeast India endorsed by D’Addario.
