BC Manjunath

B. C. Manjunath is an Indian mridangam artist from Karnataka, active in Indian classical music as well as jazz and world music. He is widely known as a strong practitioner and promoter of konnakol, and has shared rhythmic ideas through performances and online videos, including explorations of mathematical patterns like Fibonacci Tala. Born into a musical family, he learned mridangam from Vidwan K. N. Krishnamurthy. His father was the veteran mridangam artist Dr. B. K. Chandramouli, and his paternal grandmother, Vidushi A. Rajamma Keshavamurthy, was also a vocalist.
